French athlete Jérémy Jurkiewicz was nearly across the line of Ironman 70.3 Brazil but his cockiness got the better of him and he decided to showboat to the crowd.
Cue second place athlete Igor Amorelli who rounded the corner while Jurkiewicz was still playing up to the crowd.
Amorelli was already slowing up to allow Jurkiewicz to cross the line as the winner but in an act of complete idiocy Jurkiewicz shoves him out of the way.
If I was Amorelli I’d have floored him once they crossed the finish line.
Part of me wanted Amorelli to win just to teach Jurkiewicz a lesson:
