Jantastic 2014 starts on Monday (Jan 6th) and is brought to you by those lovely people at Marathon Talk.
The premise behind Jantastic is to get you off to a good start to the year by committing to doing a number of runs per week in the month of January.
Jantastic is then followed up by Febulous where you up the challenge by setting a personal target for the number of runs you’ll do each week and also the distance of each week’s longest run for the month of February.
The third part of the trilogy is Marchvelous Which is where you set how many runs, how far and what time? Set a personal target for the number of runs you’ll do each week, the distance of each week’s longest run, and also your predicted time for flat-out effort over a race, parkrun or even one of your favourite training routes.
I did this for the first time last year and the improvements in my running times were amazing.
It’s definitely worth signing up to but remember to log your runs on the site or you won’t get the individual or team points.
