The Reluctant Runner

My name is Steve Claringbold

I’m a 37 year old father of two and husband to the long suffering Mrs C.

In 2009 I picked up a bug for Running which, in turn, has enabled me to raise money for charities.

I’m a member of local running club DH Runners and a Mental Health Ambassador for England Athletics.

The big goal this year is to continue running marathons and attempt an ultra marathon in preparation for Comrades in 2018. I’ll be fundraising this year for Kicks Count.

I never for one minute would have thought that running and fitness would take over my life as much as it has but it’s true what some people say ‘Once you finish that first race then that’s you hooked’.

2017 is going to be a great year with regards to running and fund raising. There’s a lot planned which I’ll hopefully keep readers up to date with on this blog but for now sit back and relax, read the blog and let me know what you think.

Fundraising at:

Just-Giving.

Kindest regards, Steve (https://runmoderatelysizedmiddleagedduderun.wordpress.com/)
